Prince William learns to fly with the Royal Air Force
Prince William has learnt to fly during a four month attachment with the Royal Air Force. Known as Flying Officer Wales, the Prince learnt to fly both Tucano training jets and Squirrel helicopters during an intensive training programme which taught him about the RAF’s ethos, traditions and military role as he prepares to one day head the Armed Forces.
