The Prince of Wales and The Duchess of Cornwall will visit the UNESCO World Heritage Site of the Todaiji Temple, one of the best-known Buddhist sites in Nara, and meet the Chief Abbot.
The Prince of Wales and The Duchess of Cornwall will meet restorers at the Imperial Treasure House, Nara and will view a treasure house of religious items used in Todaiji temple and other ancient items.
The Prince of Wales, President, The Prince’s School of Traditional Arts (PSTA), and The Duchess of Cornwall will visit the Nara Traditional Craft Museum where they will view traditional Japanese crafts and meet students and tutors taking part in workshops at the museum.
The Prince of Wales will visit the Sharp Research and Development Centre, Tenri, Nara to meet staff and Japanese Climate Change Champions and to see first-hand how the company is using renewable energy in their products.
The Duchess of Cornwall will visit the Osaka Board of Education to meet children and staff from five local Osaka schools involved in the British Council’s School Links project, Osaka Prefectural Government Meeting House, Osaka.
Prince William and Prince Harry will attend the Royal World Premiere of the new Bond film, Quantum of Solace, in aid of Their Royal Highnesses' chosen charities, Help for Heroes and The Royal British Legion, at The Odeon, Leicester Square, London.
