The Prince of Wales will be received by the Sultan of Yogyakarta (His Excellency Sri Sultan Hamengkubowono X) who will present PhD students from the University of Gajah Mada.
The Prince of Wales, accompanied by the Sultan of Yogyakarta, will view traditional handicrafts and items from the Sultan’s collection before attending a cultural performance at the Kraton Palace, Yogyakarta, Java.
The Prince of Wales will visit the English Learning Centre and the Computer Laboratory before listening to children reciting the Qu’ran during a visit to the Pondok Pesantren Krapyak, Yogyakarta, Java.
The Prince of Wales will visit Borobudur Temple.
The Prince of Wales will attend a discussion about interfaith dialogue with British and Indonesian faith leaders at the Manohara Hotel, Yogyakarta.
Prince Harry will launch Khumbu Challenge 09, an adventure training expedition for wounded Service personnel to the base of Mount Everest. The Prince will meet wounded Service personnel and Khumbu Challenge organisers, HM Naval Base Devonport, Plymouth.
